Internship Program:

The Dallas Mayor's office is seeking motivated, mature students with good judgment skills, spirit, imagination, energy and a commitment to excellence.

Goal

To provide an individual with a monitored and supervised work experience where the individual has learning goals and gains practical work experience to complement their academic studies.
The internship will help build the foundation for careers as elected officials, political science researchers, public administrators, journalists and other related fields.

Students will report weekly on their learning process and goals.

This is a relatively new, highly competitive program that receives dozens of applicants for a limited number of internships.
